The most costly injection molding problems are the ones that could have been caught at the design stage. New England Molding’s engineering team gets involved early reviewing your geometry, flagging manufacturability issues, and recommending improvements before a single dollar is spent on tooling.
What Our Engineering Team Provides
Free, comprehensive mold and tooling design consulting included with every quote.
IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification) documentation for new programs.
PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) support.
First Article Inspection (FAI) with full dimensional reporting.
In-house machine shop support for mold modifications and adjustments.
SLA (stereolithography) capabilities used internally to aid part geometry review, tooling development, and engineering analysis in support of our injection molding processes.
Note on SLA / 3D Printing
Our SLA capabilities are used internally to support engineering and tooling development. We do not offer standalone prototyping services. If you need a prototype before tooling, we can connect you with trusted local resources for prototyping and CAD design.
The Quoting Process
Submit your part drawings or CAD files and we’ll return a comprehensive quote tooling and production pricing within 1–2 weeks. Our engineering team reviews every submission before the quote is issued, so what you receive is accurate and includes any design recommendations we’d make before building the tool.
All new programs go through a structured validation process before full production. Processing parameters are established, quality protocols defined, and sample parts submitted for your approval before volume runs begin. Retained samples are kept on file.
